    Owner and Head Coach

    Steve began his CrossFit journey in 2011 and founded CrossFit Cheltenham in 2012. He has a degree in Sport & Exercise Science and a background in Rugby & MMA. He has won many European CrossFit Competitions and competed in the 40+ category at the Wodapalooza in Miami, Florida.

  • Bizzie Ascham

    Manager and Coach

    Bizzie has a background in team sports, having played hockey for Cirencester Hockey Club since 2007. She discovered CrossFit whilst studying at the University of Leeds in 2020, and was hooked on learning new skills and the constant challenge. She joined CrossFit Cheltenham in 2023, started coaching in 2024 and moved into coaching and managing full-time in 2025.

    Srdan Alijevic

    Coach

    Srdan (Sergio) is an experienced CrossFit athlete and coach with competition and coaching experience in CrossFit and Weightlifting. He began CrossFit in late 2018 after a diverse sports background including karate, volleyball, speed skating, and taekwondo, where he became a national champion of Serbia. He joined the coaching team in early 2025 and has been coaching regularly since mid-2025.

    Lorea Sarobe

    Coach

    Lorea is an experienced sport and physical activity professional with experience coaching both children and adults. She started CrossFit in 2013 to supplement her football and futsal training. She played at national levels for both Spain and England. She then switched her focus to CrossFit. She joined the Coaching Team in 2020 and started regularly coaching in 2021.

  • Andrew Kings

    Coach

    Andrew started CrossFit three years ago with very little baseline fitness and quickly got hooked on getting stronger, learning new skills and the competitive side of the sport.

    He joined the CFC coaching team in 2026 after completing his CrossFit Level 1. He loves helping people improve, especially newer athletes, and seeing people achieve things they didn’t think they could do.

    Outside the gym, Andrew works in the NHS as a pharmacist. He also enjoys judging at larger CrossFit events, including the CrossFit games semifinals.

  • Tom O'Neill

    Coach

    Tom started CrossFit in 2024 after deciding it was time for a change from years of more traditional powerlifting and bodybuilding-style training. He was quickly hooked by the variety of CrossFit and the fact that there is always another skill to learn or something to improve.

    He joined the CFC coaching team in March 2026 and particularly enjoys helping members develop their skills and confidence. His favourite coaching moments are when members realise that they’re more capable than they thought.

    Tom is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer and is currently completing his British Weight Lifting Level 2 qualification. He also enjoys competing in CrossFit and judging at competitions, experiencing the sport from both sides of the floor.

    Outside the gym, Tom works as a dentist. When he isn’t working, training or coaching, he enjoys travelling and can usually be found planning his next trip.
